About Triviagon

triviagon.com

Triviagon is a small studio of daily and weekly puzzle games, written by hand rather than pulled from a question bank. Every clue is original, every answer is checked against a real source, and every game is free to play with no account and no sign-in.

How the trivia works

Most Triviagon sections share one format, built to reward what you actually know rather than how fast you can type. Each day (or week) gives you three answers to name, and each answer arrives with three escalating clues:

A wrong guess or a skip turns the next card, so the choice is always the same one: commit now for more, or wait for a clearer clue and settle for less. The three answers climb in difficulty from easy to hard, and your streak carries across days.

The trivia worlds

A daily film puzzle - three films, three clues each, drawn from the last few decades of cinema.

Video Games

A daily puzzle across the history of games, from the arcade era to last year’s releases.

Board Games

A daily puzzle spanning the tabletop - from Monopoly and Clue to modern hobby designs.

Books

A weekly novels puzzle, drawn from prize lists, bestsellers, and modern literary fiction.

Heroes & Villains

A daily puzzle across comics and their adaptations - DC, Marvel, and beyond.

Pokémon

A weekly puzzle on the original 150, built from the games and the show.

Disney

A weekly character puzzle, from Snow White to the modern era.

The Simpsons

A weekly puzzle on Springfield - the people, the places, and the products.

The Lord of the Rings

A weekly puzzle on Middle-earth, spanning the books and the films.

The original puzzles

Alongside the trivia, Triviagon builds original games of its own - each with its own rules, its own daily board, and a solver that proves every puzzle is fair before it ships.

Star Miner

A daily route puzzle. Chart a path across a grid, collecting as many points as you can on the fuel you have, and reach the exit before it runs out.

Objectivity

A daily deduction game. One hidden household object, twenty-five questions face-down. Flip them, follow the answers, and name the thing - the fewer flips, the higher your score.

Towerpath

A daily tower-defence puzzle. Place five towers along a fixed path to hold back three waves of monsters - every board has a proven perfect solution to find.

Chess Reactions

A daily chess puzzle with a twist - read the position and find the move the board is asking for.

How it is made

Triviagon is written by one person. Clues are drafted by hand and passed through checks that catch the usual traps - a clue that names its own answer, a puzzle that gives itself away, an answer a player would reasonably confuse with another. Facts that ship are verified against a real source rather than written from memory, and the original games are each backed by a solver that refuses to publish a board it cannot prove is solvable.
