Triviagon is a collection of free daily and weekly puzzle games. You can play every game without an account, a sign-in, or a purchase. This policy explains what is stored in your browser as you play, and how advertising on the site uses cookies.

Who we are

Triviagon (“we”, “us”, “the site”) operates the puzzle games at triviagon.com. If you have any question about this policy or the data described here, contact us at contact@triviagon.com.

What the site itself stores

Triviagon keeps a small amount of information in your own browser so the games work and remember your progress. This data stays on your device; we do not run accounts and the site does not transmit it to us or link it to your identity.

Your scores and results - which puzzles you have completed and how you did, so a finished puzzle shows as done and your streaks are kept. Stored in your browser’s local storage and, for some sections, a first-party cookie (for example tg_scores_movies).
Your preferences - light or dark theme, the background pattern, and whether sound effects are on.
In-progress state - a puzzle you have partly played, so an accidental refresh does not lose it.

You can clear all of this at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for triviagon.com. Doing so removes your saved scores and preferences.

Advertising and cookies

Triviagon uses Google AdSense to show advertising. As a consequence of the site’s use of Google’s advertising products and services:

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to Triviagon and/or other sites on the Internet.
These technologies may collect information such as your device and browser, your approximate location (from your IP address), and the pages you view, in order to serve, measure, and - where permitted - personalize advertising.

Opt out of personalized advertising from participating third parties at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.com (EU).

Consent (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, Triviagon presents a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before personalized ads are served. Your consent choice is recorded so the site can honour it; you can change your choice at any time through the consent controls. This consent step is separate from, and additional to, this privacy policy.

What we do not do

We do not ask you to create an account or provide a name, email, or password to play.
We do not sell your personal information.
The games are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Links to other sites

Some results screens link out to third-party reference wikis (for example Wikipedia or a fan wiki) so you can read more about an answer. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes or as advertising and privacy requirements evolve. When we do, we will update the “Effective” date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
